While there probably won’t be any hooking at our house today, we do plan to put our feet, and seats, on some hooked and prodded mats as we gather in the dining room. There will be a fire in the fire place, even if we have to turn on the air conditioner. And, some of us will be sitting on a hooked rug, on the living room floor, as we gather round our tree. We have a relaxed day planned, with special people and special food, to help us celebrate this very special day.
However, I am not too busy with all those things to stop and say:

God has blessed us all in so many ways this year. I am thankful for this day to pause and remember His messages to us all. Sometimes I confess that I get busy and forget to thank Him. Life is good.
