Yes Virginia, there is a Blog Christmas and it arrives Monday morning, December 21.
Although Monday morning’s post will announce the winners of our two announced blog drawings, the deadline to submit your name for eligibility is 10PM Sunday night, December 20. The place to make that submission is at the top of this post where the pages are listed – Frame Giveaway and Internet RC Giveaway. Each page contains information about that particular drawing: a like new sit upon frame and a 12 month subscription to the internet rug camp. Click on the page that interests you and comment with enough information so that I can contact you. Of course, you do have to be a registered blog user to comment. Finally, I know how to get lurkers to register on the blog … give away free stuff! There were so many people registering and commenting yesterday that I thought my email notification account was going to crash! If you haven’t put your name in the pot for either of the drawings, you still have time but only until 10 PM Sunday night.
I’ve got to sign off now so that I can get the numbers ready for the drawing. It looks like I’ll have to get out the big punch bowl. Have a good weekend.

I’m still so incredibly impressed and overwhelmed with your blog! I found your blog in doing some research on rug hooking and was checking things out on YouTube. There you were Gene! From there I found your blog-store-yahoo rug hooking group…etc. I too am amazed at your generosity and talent along with all of the other contributors here.

I probably missed this information, but how do we sign up and pay for the internet rug camp?

emfolk – No, you have not missed the particulars. We expect to launch in early January. (I will actually start talking about it in the next few days.) At that time, everything will be set up so you can register, pay and have access to the site all at once. Subscriptions will be based on your payment – so, if you register January 5, 2010, you will not be up for renewal until Jan 4, 2011. Cost for 12 months is $36, however, those who subscribe in January will receive a price discount to $33 for the year. There will also be a 6 month option for $20. I’ll keep you posted about this and other things which all happen at the same time. GRS
