Here are a few more shots from the First Saturday Hook-In.
It’s nice to see this pattern come to life. It was “drawn” on the blog, so we have seen it from start to … this point.
The artist is using a variety of wool material and yarns to hook the trees, which shows up in this detail shot. We also picked out a color for the sky, which I will dye before the next time we meet.
Working off of last month’s mini-class, this #12 cut project was started.
I’ve always liked this simple pattern.
This artist actually worked on two different projects – this one, which she is hooking and another one which we started whipping. Sorry I did not get more photos of First Saturday – I’ll try harder next time.
Tomorrow, I will show you the new project I started the other day … and bring you up to speed on some other things I have been working on.
