I was talking on the phone yesterday evening with a rug hooker, when I learned that they were experiencing their first snowfall of the season. Then, I went to church last night and learned from our Ohio snowbirds that their home town would be hit with snow today. Although we never have that sort of weather in lovely Southern California, I am, unfortunately, very much still under the weather so, naturally, feel an affinity with everyone having to weather whatever storm, personal or climatic, which is before them. However, just knowing that I will be able to go to Cambria Pines Rug Camp, June 6-11, 2010, is a big tonic to me right now – probably the only thing that is getting me through. If you are depressed by winter storms, let me recommend that you attack them head on by registering today for CPRC 2010. Spaces are still available and I promise that it won’t snow during camp. Let’s beat this weather thing together! Registration forms can be downloaded from the website.
