Cutting Up at the Thursday Night Hook In

21 Aug

Even though it was supposed to be a hook-in, I needed to prep wool for dyeing. I took 2 bolts of wool instead of a project. Cutting wool into notched, quarter yard sections is my least favorite thing to do. However, since it has to be done sometime, Thursday night was as good a time as any. If all goes well today, I’ll spend most the day giving the studio a makeover as the other thing I need to find for Saturday’s dye session is the stove. But, for now, I like the way the looks when it is all cut and ready to go.

Hi, Only three yards? I hope we get to see what you are doing…..Is it the Fowl Mood? I am anxious to see…….I printed off the dyed pieces for Fowl Mood, but my printer doesn’t do it justice.

Noooo, I intend to dye about 23 yards – the amount shown is, roughly 1 and a half bolts of wool. Gene
