I hope you have enjoyed the last few posts as we have been allowed to take a peak at some of the regular and miniature hooked rugs in the collection of Dale and Marny Cardin. Their enthusiasm for hooked rugs is contagious. By surrounding themselves with such beauty, that make it possible for our world to soak up so of that wonderful color as well. Fortunately, I still have a few of their beautiful rugs left for today’s post.
This one was hooked by Linda Dwyer, Sacramento, CA.
Peg Richardson, a Southern California hooking legend in her own right, made this wonderful fined shaded piece.
This little bird, by Marion Wise, was also used as an illustration in the Rug Hooker’s Bible.
Since it’s always good to have a strong finish, I will close with this marvelous hanging by Ann Taylor, Canada.
Thank you Marny and Dale for 5 days of inspiration! It makes me want to start saving my pennies and buy a rug.
