Just when I thought I was done with Prodded Floral Wreaths for a while, I had to make a few more kits before Christmas. It is an easy enough thing to do when all the wool needed is just laying in a bin … of course, that was not the case just back from a road trip to Atlanta! But, with a little pacing … a rose here … a Black Eyed Susan there … the stash can be replenished in time for Christmas.
When dyeing up my wool stash, that also means I am regularly dipping into my citric acid crystal stash. I buy it 20 pounds at a time … which is more than the home dyer needs to have around!

Gene discusses the use and procurement of citric acid crystals and Wash Fast Acid Dyes.
