For those who are following the progress of my new book, I thought you might be interested in seeing a hooked version of the free pattern I designed as an insert. The construction techniques needed to make it form the content of the fourth chapter. The final count of color photos used to illustrate the book came to 210. Additionally, the publisher has changed the title to Prodded Hooking for a Three Dimensional Effect. It is still expected to come out in October and sell for $29.95 – this price also will include an instructional DVD. Other chapters in the book deal with the history and making of traditional prodded rugs, a variety of shaped petal prodded flowers and a gallery of hooked and prodded pieces.
