Bless You Grandpa! My small bit of dyeing yesterday did not turn out as well as yours perhaps because I did not have such able help.Aren’t grandkids the greatest gift? Susan – Wookies, particularly in times of peace, have a long tradition of being fiber artists. While both male and female Wookies make various types of rugs, their females are known, particularly, for their fine spun yarns (combed from recycled Wookie hair that collects in hair brushes – obviously a constant source) which are woven into an unusually durable flannel weight fabric used for a variety of things in Wookie culture but, eventually, ends up in their floor rugs. Given their commitment to the fiber arts, it is no surprise that Wookies would be some of the first to enter the fight for the liberation of dyers in the Clone Dye Wars. GRS
